Super Bowl ads, listeria, and Times Square



More foods are being recalled due to a deadly outbreak of listeria poisoning, including seven-layer dip, chicken enchiladas, and taco kits.


The good news is that less people are dying of listeria, but the bad news is that the suicide rate has catapulted.

Finnish airline Finnair has started recording people's weights before boarding.


Finnair has made it clear that a passenger's weight will not get them kicked off of a flight — as long as they weigh no more than 3.4 ounces.

A food allergy awareness organization has asked for a Super Bowl ad depicting someone covered in hives realizing there's peanuts in peanut butter to be removed, accusing Uber Eats of "making light" of allergy-related deaths.


"Yeah, us next!" said heart attack victims after watching the five-millionth heart medication commercial with people happily jogging.

A Texas man was sentenced to 180 days in jail and 10 years of probation after putting abortion medication in his wife's drinks without her knowledge.


His soon-to-be-ex spoke out after the ruling, saying "I do not believe that 180 days is justice for trying to kill your child seven separate times."


She's right, but don't worry — the same court sentenced her to 30 years to life immediately after.

Tucker Carlson's two hour interview with Vladimir Putin was released yesterday, leaving many saying the interview lacked depth as Putin showed complete control while responding to softball questioning.


In fairness, the former Fox News anchor probably had some more heavy-hitting questions about Russia's attacks on Ukraine and election interference, but Putin got up and left early after deciding that Carlson was lying too much for his taste.
