Dishonorable SCOTUS, drunk dinosaurs, and the wealthiest underdogs

The Supreme Court ruled yesterday that former presidents have broad immunity from prosecution, a dangerous precedent blatantly set in an effort to help Donald Trump escape accountability for past and — if he has it his way — future actions otherwise deemed illegal.

It's an incredibly dark time for American democracy, but now's the best time to float this out there — if Biden stood on Fifth Avenue with a gun right now and waited to shoot a particular person, I do not think he would lose any voters.

Researchers are now saying the landscape created by the extinction of dinosaurs allowed grapes to grow for the first time, meaning the defunct species is ultimately responsible for the invention of wine.

That's super interesting, but I am sort of bummed that it rules out my personal theory of how the dinosaurs died — alcohol poisoning.

Celtics star Jayson Tatum has signed a five-year, $314 million supermax contract to stay with the reigning champs, making it the largest deal in NBA history. This comes after teammate Jaylen Brown signed a similar contract for $304 million last offseason.

The Celtics continuing to pride themselves on being the NBA's underdogs makes them about as logical as seeing Ben Affleck in a Starbucks commercial.

Google's climate emissions have increased 48% from the baseline since setting a "net zero" goal three years ago, a massive jump the company is blaming on the incredible amount of energy needed to run AI.

Ah, that clears things up. It's alright for it to be 80 degrees in Wisconsin in December as long as Google's AI is there to teach us we can cool down by putting our heads in an oven.

Rudy Giuliani has been disbarred in New York after a court found he repeatedly made false statements relating to Donald Trump's 2020 election loss, a fact the former mayor "essentially conceded" to.

Giuliani's attorney commented on the ruling, saying there was "writing on the wall." Specifically, "You can't pay for your own legal battles until you get paid for the other guy's."

Two suspects have been arrested on Oprah Winfrey's Hawaii ranch after being suspected of illegal hunting.

"Illegal hunters" seems like a really weird term to use instead of "hitmen Gayle hired to come eliminate Stedman."
